Last week we suggested a program linking U.S. scholars to non-U.S. institutions. This week, we outline a program linking non-U.S. scholars to U.S. institutions.

IAPCHE Endorses
Fulbright Scholars-in-Residence Program
You can be involved in an international faculty exchange through the Fulbright Scholars-in-Residence Program (SIR)! SIR promotes linkage between non-U.S. academics and professionals and their counterparts in universities in the U.S. IAPCHE endorses SIR, which is a program of the U.S. State Department. Although not sponsored by our organization, IAPCHE members are welcome to make use of this program. The Council for International Exchange of Scholars can provide funding for your program. More details are available in the
SIR Brochure.
For this program, U.S. institutions must propose a program and are then matched with a non-U.S. scholar. Scholars outside the U.S. may apply for review by a U.S. institution before being selected. Check these links for more information and application procedures.
