Faculty Enrichment Programs (FEPs)

The planning continues for FEPs in Western, Southern, and Eastern Africa.

• The Zambian Steering Team for the Southern FEP will meet on 14 November, 09 at Northrise University in Ndola, Zambia;
• The Steering Team for the Nigerian FEP continues to meet via telephone; and  
• The Steering Team for the East Africa FEP is being formed now, after an initial conference call meeting and email follow-up.

We will announce the final program details as they become available.

Please submit your individual and institutional membership dues. We manage to achieve our goals when members support us morally and financially. When we do not hear from you for long, this makes us feel you are not interested in our IAPCHE/CPCHEA membership and this may mean dropping your name from our online directory. When you communicate, we are able to know your position and arrange a partial waiver if necessary. (The IAPCHE office sent dues notices by email last week. If you did not reciieve it, email them.)

Links to Members’ Projects

We seek to establish ways in which our members do not work in isolation. We invite our members to establish ways to link people to their projects, either study or research, in order to attract funding or research partners. Kindly send us your project links and we will share them in a future update and our bulletin -- “Transforming African Higher Education” 

Nurturing African Scholarship

CPCHEA appreciates established scholars but also believe in nurturing scholarship. We are thinking of establishing a motivational inter-regional competition on specific topics relevant for our African context but with global relevance. This will involve students from our member institutions. We encourage sponsors to fund this endeavour to motivate and  develop African young scholarship—the future of Africa. Please send your suggestions for possible funding sources to cpchea.admin@cpchea.org
