Education Consultation

Education Consult 2008

On April 4 and 5, 2008, IAPCHE hosted the 7th annual consultation of agencies involved in Christian primary, elementary, secondary, and higher education. The consultation, co-sponsored by Alta Vista, a Seattle-based educational service organization, was held at Bellevue Christian School in Bellevue, Washington.

At the April consultation, delegates voiced the need to learn from each other and “not re-invent the wheel” when taking on a project to assist Christian education in another country. James Vreugdenhil has shared such a model about his work in Niger, “The Effects of the SIM Christian Teacher Training Program on the Classroom Teaching-Learning Process.” Click here to read the report.

This project was approved at the International IAPCHE Conference in August 2000. CES proposed to create a partnership designed to promote Christian teacher training around the world.

We hope to hold the next consultation in 2008. For more information, e-mail iapche@dordt.edu.

The Sixth Annual Consultation was held on April 8, 2006.
