Search for IAPCHE Executive Director

Nick Lantinga, who served in this post since 2002, will resign in July 2011. Since the new executive director will be forming an administrative office, this search will proceed by way of nominations from IAPCHE member institutions, including its current host Dordt College, which will include proposals to host and partially support the administrative work of the IAPCHE secretariat.

 



Interim Director

The IAPCHE board is in the process of appointing a one-year, interim director who will begin duties in July 2011. During the interim year, Anne Maatman will continue as Director of Operations. 

 

 

Submit Applications

Chief academic officers of IAPCHE member institutions are invited to submit nominations/ proposals for Executive Director and hosting institution. Nomination documents will be received by the search committee chair, Dr. Joel Carpenter, at the Nagel Institute, Calvin College. Location

At this stage of IAPCHE's career, the organization needs to be located at a supportive host institution.

Dordt College (pictured above)currently supports IAPCHE's operations in a number of ways, including:
  • office space/furniture,
  • computers and support,
  • telephones,
  • fax and copy machines,
  • site insurance,

in addition to a generous annual donation.

 



Timeline

 

  • October 15, 2011: Proposal deadline
  • November 1, 2011: Short list determined.
  • February, 2012: New director announced.
  • July 2012: New director assumes duties.

The search committee is made up of three board members: Jose Alcantara (Mexico), Joel Carpenter (USA), and John Hiemstra (Canada).
